1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CampusFreelance ("the Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By using CampusFreelance, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2.2 College/University Status

CampusFreelance is exclusively for current students of recognized colleges and universities. You must provide a valid college email address during registration.

2.3 Legal Capacity

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements and that you are not prohibited by law from using the Platform.

3. Account Registration & Security

3.1 Registration Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. CampusFreelance is not liable for unauthorized access due to your negligence.

3.3 Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.

4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

4.1 Prohibited Content

You shall not upload, post, or share:

• Personal information (phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses)
• Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
• Sexually explicit or obscene material
• Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
• Copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Malware, viruses, or harmful code

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Attempting to bypass platform security measures
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the system
• Engaging in fraud, scams, or dishonest behavior
• Harassing, bullying, or threatening other users
• Sharing intellectual property without permission
• Using the platform for commercial purposes outside of freelance services

4.3 Academic Integrity

Users acknowledge that they are responsible for understanding and complying with their institution's academic integrity policies. CampusFreelance does not encourage academic dishonesty and reserves the right to take action against users who violate their institution's policies.

5. Project & Service Terms

5.1 Project Posting

Clients (project posters) agree that all projects posted are legal, ethical, and comply with their institution's policies.

5.2 Bid Acceptance

Once a client accepts a freelancer's bid, both parties enter into a binding agreement to complete the project as specified.

5.3 Deliverable Quality

Freelancers must deliver work that meets the agreed-upon specifications and quality standards. Clients have the right to request revisions within the agreed scope.

5.4 Revision Policy

Clients may request up to the specified number of revisions. Additional revisions may incur extra charges as mutually agreed.

6. Payments & Wallet

6.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through PayU or Razorpay payment gateways. CampusFreelance is not responsible for payment gateway errors or delays caused by third-party payment processors.

6.2 Wallet Usage

Your wallet balance is a digital representation of funds in your account. Wallet funds are non-refundable except where required by law.

6.3 Transaction Fees

CampusFreelance charges a service commission on each project a fixed amount of INR 10

6.4 Withdrawal Policy

Freelancers may withdraw earnings once they reach the minimum withdrawal threshold (currently ₹500). Withdrawals are processed to verified bank accounts only.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Revision Requests

In case of disputes regarding work quality, clients may file revision requests. CampusFreelance will mediate and ensure fair resolution.

7.2 Admin Mediation

Our admin team will review disputed deliverables and make decisions based on the project specifications and quality standards.

7.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are processed only in cases of project non-completion or upon admin approval. Refund timelines depend on the payment method used (typically 5-7 business days).

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 User Content Rights

By posting content on CampusFreelance, you grant the platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your content for platform operations.

8.2 Delivered Work Ownership

Upon project completion and payment release, the client receives ownership of the delivered work unless otherwise specified in the project agreement.

8.3 Third-Party Content

Users must not infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights. CampusFreelance is not liable for copyright infringement by users.

9. Privacy & Data Security

Your use of CampusFreelance is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining platform security.

10. Limitation of Liability

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CampusFreelance, its officers, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms of Service or misuse of the Platform.

12. Termination

CampusFreelance reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in illegal or harmful activities.

13. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform following changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in your respective state/jurisdiction.
